AMD’s new compact card based on the Fiji silicon, the AMD Radeon R9 Nano, also known as the Fury Nano will be launched late August or early September. AMD has released some interesting numbers about the performance of this new card. This one is faster than the Radeon R9 290x at half the power draw. Also, the Nano has 90% higher performance per watt over the 290x. And, more importantly it has 50% higher performance per watt over the current AMD flagship the Radeon R9 Fury X.
The card is targeted towards compact but high end gaming machines capable of 1440p gaming. Below are some of the numbers previously mentioned released by AMD.
