And it was WWE Summer slam for the ages. The fight of the century, the main event of SummerSlam, The biggest event of Summer and the match which was too big for WrestleMania. It was The beast, the conqueror, Brock Lesner vs The Phenom, the reaper, The Undertaker.
It is the match which took 16 months in the making. The rivalry between these two started at WrestleMania 29 when Brock Lesner defeated Undertaker and ended his more than two decade long streak. Brock lesner gave Undertaker a beating of his life and Undertaker, on that day, left the arena in an Ambulance. But, the fight, the rivalry between these two got even worse when Undertaker interrupted the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Brock Lesner at WWE Battleground. Undertaker laid 1 choke-slam and 2 Tombstone-piledriver upon Brock Lesner and by disqualification, Brock couldn’t won the match. This led to an epic duel between Taker and Lesner the very next day on raw.
The fight was set for this SummerSlam. The main event it was. The match didn’t started well, as Lesner started to beat Taker the second he entered the ring. Taker managed to get back up and fight back. The fight was truly, once in a life time. We saw some epic moments too.
The battle was a hardcore one. Undertaker used every move in his diary against Brock Lesner but couldn’t put him down. Brock on the other hand did the same. It was only 3 F-5’s, 5 german suplexes, and 2 kimaura lock from brock Lesner. Only. The fight ended up in the most controversial way possible. Brock locked on Taker with a kimaura lock, the refree was checking Lesner’s shoulder, but he failed to see that Undertaker taped, YES, The Undertaker tapped out to kimaura lock. The time keeper saw that and ringed the bell. Refree didn’t know that and started arguing with other officials. Meanwhile, Taker took a cheap shot to Lesner’s nuts and then locked him in his own move, hells-gate. Brock Lesner taunted Taker and then passed out and Taker was announced the winner of the match.
